There are two methods of shipping in the SPAR platform:

• Delivery from a store to the customer's address
• Pickup from a store by the customer

The customer can choose an specific time slot for their delivery or pickup. The predefined time slots are fixed:

• 08:00 - 10:00
• 10:00 - 12:00
• 12:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 16:00
• 16:00 - 18:00
• 18:00 - 20:00
• 20:00 - 22:00

Based on specific store configuration the available time slots for delivery or pickup may vary.

Configuration options

Store owners can configure the available time slots for delivery and pickup in the following ways:

• Opening hours of the store determine the available time slots.
• Delivery areas based on postal code ranges.
• Stores can also enable and disable slots for both delivery and pickup, and also based on postal code ranges.
• Every store can set a specific preparation time for delivery and pickup, which affects the available time slots.
• Per product category, a store can set specific preparation times, specific weekdays and time windows.

Preparation time is the amount of time required to prepare an order for delivery or pickup. For example, if a store has a preparation time of 2 hours and opens at 08:00, the earliest available time slot would start at 10:00.
